Dexter found himself ouchy and furless at Lucas County Canine Care and Control. Without a rescue commitment, Dexter would not be leaving alive. Suffering from demodex, and secondary infections, Dexter needed help! Lucas County Pit Crew stepped up and brought Dexter in, even though he does not appear to a be a pit bull terrier type dog. Please help with his medical bills. Donate via PayPal or check and indicate that you want to save DEXTER!

Sponsors Needed!

Want to help some of our adoptable dogs find forever homes? Consider sponsoring! Sponsors provide adoption incentives by providing part of a dog's adoption fee. Sponsors also help provide needed medical care or special items for a dog in need. Any amount helps. Simply select the dog you would like to sponsor, then donate in their name via our paypal link (top of this page),  or at any event, or by check to our Training and Adoption Center 8432 W Central Avenue #1 Sylvania, OH 43560.

All sponsors that donate $75.00 dollars, or more, will have their family name, or business, listed with the sponsored dogs profile.  Tate is currently in need of a sponsor.

Our featured adoptable dog is Benji!

Adorable, adoptable Benji! Looking for a dog that is trained and ready to move right in? Benji is a ready made companion. He loves people and already has his basic good manners. Benji is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Benji is currently living in a foster home and his foster family says he is the best snuggler. His adoption fee is $75 dollars because he is sponsored by Jami Miller. If you are ready to add Benji to your family please email for an application.
